I greatly enjoyed the unique premise of this variation; having Darcy share his past dealings with Wickham so early in the novel changed the course of several characters’ lives. In no time, half the characters had, at one time or another, caught them in compromising situations. But if you want to read a sexy, passionate, homage to Austen’s characters, this will more than amply fit the bill.


Adriani has done this most specifically with her Lydia Bennet storyline.
