Those who cannot always see the hope hiding inside the pain and turmoil of life. Loving the embossed lettering. Much was made about how Pandemonium was a world without time, but many things were mentioned that denoted the passing of time.
Then some things happen, some scary and bloody, some sweet, some depressing. That her version of hell piqued my curiosity is no joke.

Aside from being a firestarter, she could take away a person’s dark emotions – sadness, grief. But Daphne also discovers what it means to love and be human in a world where human is the hardest thing to be. I really didn’t know that angels of the non-fallen variety would be a part of the plot.
I know this review is getting longer but I really must say a few words about Truman. My brother was born on a bed of black stones, under a blood-red moon. If you’d told me epace my YA keeper shelf would contain a book about one of Lucifer’s daughters and how she leaves hell and gets help finding her brother from a guy who wants to kill himself, I would have said, Sure, and then we’ll all get free ponies!

Daphne and Truman were sympathetic characters, but their problems were resolved too easily and too quickly for me to find it believable. Enthralled was I until.
Everything burns in Pandemonium, a city in Hell made of chrome and steel, where there is no future and life is an expanse of frozen time. The good and evil scale was certainly imbalanced in this book. Daphne was such a distance person when Truman was such an emotional character.

Before, when Lilith left, she’d been stony and remote. She’s bored with where she is bremna not sure what she’s supposed to do. I just know I yvanoff want anything but you. If only this was the fist book in series, I could overlook the flaws, but, alas, it’s a standalone novel, so this is all we ge This would have been an AMAZING book, only if it had at least pages. But it’s also his same actions actions that had them crossing paths.
Most definitely caught my eye. In Jewish Mythology, she was Adam’s first wife yovanofg the disobedient one and consequently, the evil one.

As usual with Yovanoff’s work, yovnoff writing is stunning, and I found myself rereading passages and contemplating them even though I always felt the need to turn the pages to find out brena happened next in the plot.
