Posted on Sep 03, Since the Aspire is relatively new, perhaps you can claim for warranty repair or even replacement whichever will suite you best. I have already installed the provided kexts using “Kext Helper b7” and after that running “RepairKexts Permission. Feel free to give suggest and opinion.

How to solve this? Plug in the audio jack to the laptop 2. Rebooted and running AudioMidi setup everything is there.

Check your audio settings in your control panel and make sure your setting are adjusted properly. I had the same problem with my Acer and I just fixed it.
