I am assuming in your first image the driver file has an exe extension. Was that what you meant by extract the contents? It’s possible the 32bit version of WIndows 7 had. I’ve tried Uninstall and then Scan for Hardware Changes. For your Windows 10 computer, right click the exclamation mark, select update driver and point it to the inf file. I right clicked the driver and chose Compatibility Mode Windows 7.

I’ve read that this has worked on 64 bit systems and even worked on my 64 bit Win 10 PC at one point. The driver is an InstallScript Setup Launcher so it exnet be found. Personally, if I had a Windows 7 computer, I would refuse the upgrade if I knew I would be purchasing a new computer after That is one of the problems with Windows 10, forced updates which also included drivers if you do not disable that feature. Here you can request the declaration of conformity of all ednet products if required.

USB microscope not working after Windows 10 update
I don’t see a. Unfortunately the drivers included with the device will only work up to Windows 7 or possibly 8.
I know nothing microcope drivers and would like some advice please. It’s a generic Chinese plug and play device that isn’t supposed to require a driver to work. I can’t say the software will install a Windows 10 driver or not. I am pretty much out of ideas on this one, sorry. I then tried this on a really old HP Compaq laptop running Windows 7 32 bit and it worked straight away. As it worked on Windows 10 before, I’m wondering if there is something I could try to get it working again.
Maybe a used laptop with XP would be the better choice. Microsoft specifically says that Windows 10 will be free until your device is no longer supported.
NET is needed to run the optional software. NET Framework 2 to run but I am not sure why to would need.
Remember me This is not recommended for shared computers. Make sure you also have the files shown in the inf file. Instead Device Manager is showing ‘ Code 18 reinstall driver’. Find a suitable product here. Reboot your eednet and try your microscope.
I’ve tried every USB port. You do it by holding shift when you restart Windows 10 and I think it only works until you reboot again.
